What an absolutely perfect little retreat! My husband and I stayed for one night in order to go to a friend's party nearby. The accommodation is clean, comfortable, tasteful and private. The little walk up through the orchard is lovely. Probably the best place I have ever stayed for character. Lovely warm welcome and good comms from the owners too. Perfect!

Set in the countryside in a lovely old farmhouse building. I stayed in the single room. It was absolutely perfect for me! I had everything I could have needed for my stay. spotless clean. I also had a great sleep, being close to the airport. It was surprisingly quiet at night. The owner was really friendly and organised my breakfast for me in the morning. Its such a great location for the airport, just a 8 minute walk. Also there is a pub over the road that I had my evening meal at. i would absolutely use this place again and would highly recommend it to anyone else looking for cheaper accommodation close to the airport.

we used it as a rest stop before going to the airport. absolutely perfect. we could relax, watch some tv and have a shower, a few hours sleep before the 2-3 min drive to the silver carpark

The King Room at the Darlington Arms was nothing short of spectacular – it felt like staying in a royal palace! The attention to detail was incredible, from the luxurious bedding to the stunning decor that made me feel like I was living in a dream. And the breakfast? Absolutely divine!     I did not meet any staff on either arrival or departure but had previously spoken to the owner on the telephone who was most helpful. I notice you have a lovely photo of a property in Redhill which people might think is Hathway House! A better map based on walking from the airport is required. Loved the rocking chair & custard creams!

    Excellent place to stay for either travelling from Bristol...

    Excellent place to stay for either travelling from Bristol Airport (which was the reason for our stay) or if you want a few days break around the area. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Restaurant was good with both English and curries on the menu.

    Whilst I’m fussy, I’m also single, travelled extensively rarely sleep on flights, so simply wanted bed & shower for the night. There looked to be rather a nice Pub over the road, where I could have gone to eat had I wished. Bus stop opposite for access to City Centre, so more environmentally friendly travel & economic.

    Excellent breakfast included.

    Excellent breakfast included. A good range of drinks and dining options available all day in a comfortable dining area. The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We only stayed one night at either end of our holiday but it was ideal for before and after our flights from Bristol Airport

    I had a very early flight in the morning.

    I had a very early flight in the morning. The extra cost was avoidable had I booked at the airport hotel. The transport arrangements, made by the owner, at extra cost, would have been avoided and longer in bed for me. The accommodation was comfortable - wish I had stayed there longer and experienced the comfortable bed for longer.

    I liked the location.

    I liked the location. The images on line made the apartment look great BUT it was cold and the heating wouldn’t turn on as it was on a timer. The second bed was impossible to sleep on as it had a bar sticking in your back. Lamps didn’t work. Tap rotated when we turned it on. No dishwasher tablet provided with dishwasher. They supplied three biscuits and tea/coffee sachets and sachets of milk for the morning. We paid a lot of money for an inferior accommodation and will not stay again.

    Our plane was delayed so we were late getting back to Bristol airport and rather than drive 2 hours in the middle of the night we found this hotel a convenient place to stay. Very comfortable bed and nice buffet breakfast. Staff very helpful too.

    It’s not a five star hotel but it is as described and very comfortable and clean. It’s an airport drop off hotel and is very well situated for Bristol airport. The facilities are good. Nice shower and drink making. Very comfortable night.

    Everything. Spacious sleeping are with comfy beds. A lovely large kitchen area and the outside private decking was great. The perfect setting to get our holiday started.... 7am flight at Bristol the following morning.
