It was such a pleasant experience staying there. Very clean, well-organised and quiet. Our room was quite spacious and had a beautiful street view filled with green. The common areas were well maintained, spacious and always available during our stay. Self check-in and checkout. Decent breakfast options available in the kitchen, with facilities to cook your own simple meal as well. There is also a separate common refrigerator to store your own stuff if needed.

In one word: perfect!! A big room, big bathroom, very clean, everything you need is here. A lot of tea, coffee, milk sugar, biscuits, bodylotion, shower gel, everything. Good water pressure in the shower, very friendly staff, location in the forest, what do you need more! The bed was so comfortable… amazing, we definitely come back here when we are in England. The helpful owner explained to us on the phone quite late in the evening that the reception was open 24/7 and there were still rooms available, (although many passengers were delayed at Stansted due to a train accident on the route from London), after which she welcomed us very kindly at 11.30 pm, showed us the room, wrote the invoice and gave us all the information we needed. Breakfast served was a freshly prepared very good English Breakfast with good coffee.

Stayed for 2 nights 21 to 23 September What's there not to like? My stay was exceptional. The place itself has a cottage like vibe. It has everything you need and the decor, features etc is very high spec. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge, microwave etc. A TV with "proper" channels including netflix, very comfortable indeed. Lesley is on hand to answer and help with any questions or queries about the area and things to do. Plus they also offer a very reasonable, very flexible taxi service. Tiptop!!! The cottage is warm and cosy. It is set back in an area surrounded by beautiful green land and in a garden with lovely garden furniture and ample seating areas. It really has the best backdrop. There is also a fully equipped gym which I had the opportunity to use, very considerate to open it up for guests. The hosts have thought about everything you may need for a comfortable getaway. They were brilliant hosts, Lesley and Pat, their welcome was more like going to stay with friends for the weekend! The nicest people you would ever want to meet, hands on, making sure you're comfortable, super pleasant, engaging and just really really nice folks. I highly recommend the Glen Adorable... the name says it all!
