Absolutely stunning lodge in the countryside-but close enough to town. Comfortable warm clean and also the host had it kitted out like a 5star hotel. Beautiful toiletries and towels. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed for cooking and cleaning as well as beautiful biscuits croissants and a large range of coffees and teas. The hosts were really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Despite being so perfect it is dog friendly too! We will definitely be coming back.

Lovely rooms - narrow spiral staircases which were a little difficult to navigate at night and we could not get any bags up them. Staff were great, food phenomenal, very clean. Pillows could do with some love.

    Great location, esp if visiting Stanley House - only a 5 minute drive. Quite, cosy and well catered for accomodation. All the mod cons needed for a comfortable stay. Parking outside the house on road. Enjoyed our stay!
