    És una ciutat que pots visitar a peu tranquilament.

    És una ciutat que pots visitar a peu tranquilament. No hi ha massa monuments per veure. Varem visitar The John Rylands Library, una biblioteca antiga preciosa, molt recomanable. La Catedral de Manchester i els seus voltants. Tot el centre amb les seves galeries comercials, China Town,… L’ajuntament estava en restauració i no és podia visitar. Llastima, perqué diuen que és un gran edifici.

    Vam anar en cap de setmana i a principis de desembre: molta gent a tot arreu. Mercats de nadal plens, pubs plens, restaurants plens. Centre peatonal comercial, de les grans marques i cadenes. Res especial. Transport públic eficient i còmode.
