Beautiful location. Awesome views from the hot tub. The owner put our fridge/freezer items from our shopping away as we were a few mins after our shopping delivery. The fire was great and our logs lasted our stay. The beds/bedding were soooo comfy. The place was really clean. They allowed us to take our 2 bunnies at last minute. Came immediately to change our smoke alarm battery. Really recommend this place. The people, the location. It was everything we needed and more.

The greyhound inn was an amazing place to stay! We loved every second of our stay and was honestly sad our stay ended. The room was absolutely immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. We had everything we needed provided such as clean bedding with blankets, toiletries with fresh towels, tea coffee and sugar with a kettle, WIFI and TV. The staff was absolutely amazing and such lovely down to earth people and i honestly can’t thank them enough for the attention to detail and done everything and more to make our stay an absolute pleasure. The greyhound is a beautiful pub in the heart of the countryside within the Lake District. The prices were more than reasonable and there it was so lovely to have a meal and drinks of an evening and had a real sense of comfort. We would 100% be booking to come back and stay again. I would lastly like to say a special thank you to Lisa for making our stay so perfect. Our time at the greyhound was so perfect and we can not wait to come back again. Thank you all so much.

The hosts were super good and kind. Their hospitality was exceptionally amazing. The couple are super sweet and extremely hands on. Right from the checkin where the host showed us the room and offered us tea and cakes till the checkout where they showered us with amazing breakfast with an eye for detail on all the requests.The wallpapers of the room were so pretty and room and shower were super comfortable. Ample parking space and the local town nearby has many options for restaurants. Overall highly rated and recommended. Must try if you want to a live in a British house.

Stunning location. Peaceful, away from highways. so minumum noise. Out of season so roads in general quiet. Cottge had been furnished and equiped to a very high stanard. Even the bunk bed was really comfortable for a 63 year old, so not just aimed at young families. The perfect get away.

An idyllic cottage setting with views over Coniston Old Man and fells surrounding. Gorgeous village and church fab for those summer evening walks. Loved the space of the cottage and it had a nice feel about it. The garden was great for the views and just to sit and enjoy.
