Pateley Bridge is a lovely village. We tried two pubs which both had a nice atmosphere, good food and friendly staff. Perfect location for walking, very close to Brimham rocks. The flat is lovely, modern, warm and comfortable, with a fireplace and large windows. Quentin communicated very well throughout, with easy check-in and checkout. Thank you for a great stay!

Skyfell is one of the most beautiful places we have stayed in. The views from every aspect are stunning. The location is great and the walk around the reservoir is a must. The interior of the cottage was clean and welcoming. We loved the kitchen diner with the open log burner and spent most of our time around the dining table eating, drinking and playing games from the cupboard! A welcoming bottle of bubbles to enjoy in the hot tub was a great touch, we will definitely be back.

    The footpath from Lofthouse to Middlesmoor was a short stroll up the hill (albeit with some nettles). The circular walk to Scar House Reservoir was 9.8miles, an OS map was handy as the path disappears at points. Stock up on supplies at Pateley Bridge as we did not see any grocery stores in Lofthouse.
