Stayed overnight on New Years Eve. Absolutely delicious meal in the pub, very high quality. Pub was busy with a good atmosphere. Room was recently renovated and was lovely. Comfy bed, clean room and good facilities. Breakfast was good, served by a lovely friendly lady. Can't fault anything.

Wonderful stay and fantastic hosts. Leyburn is very central and therefore a good location to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Parking is free and the room was very clean. Will return for sure. Can recommend to join the pub quiz.

Excellent stay thank you. Great hosts providing little extras. The room is large quiet and clean. Breakfast is great with a good choice. Onsite parking is a real bonus, everything Leyburn has to offer is right on your doorstep. Throughly recommended

    Recommend a stay for three to four nights , easily enough to do. However finding a venue that serves food on a Monday / Tuesday evening can be a slight challenge so would recommend to go from Tuesday onwards.

    Leyburn is a proper old market town with a relaxed and friendly ambience. Diesel was cheap. There are lots of beautiful viewpoints in the area, from the pretty but small Harmby waterfall to the more grand Aysgarth Falls just up the road. We'd definitely visit again.

    Leyburn is a lovely village we went to several of the bars for food and drinks, everyone we met while in Leyburn, Hawes an other villages in the surrounding area was extremely friendly we had a wonderful Sunday lunch at Saddle Room you must visit this a beautiful area.

    We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn.

    We spent one morning of our stay in Leyburn. We enjoyed browsing in the diverse collection of local shops. We had a cooked breakfast in the small restaurant overlooking the market place and a drink in The Bolton Arms. Overall a pleasant town that we would retun to.

    Staying in the centre of this lovely town (Market Place) is a good idea as several worthwhile things are close by, including the Wensleydale Railway (preserved diesel locomotives), a distillery and the town's attractive shops as well as a couple of restaurants. Walk a few yards away from town in any direction and the views across Wensleydale are superb. A really good place to visit for a night or two. Paradise for serious walkers, but also for those who want shorter strolls in a fabulous landscape.

    Leyburn is a nice little town.

    Leyburn is a nice little town. The Sandpiper is the jewel in the crown as far as eateries are concerned. There is also a delightful, independent supermarket which appears to be built in a Tardis! Lots of lovely, local produce combined with the usual provisions. A walk along the Leyburn Shawl is recommended for great views of the countryside (weather permitting!).

    EVERYTHING!! Grove house is beautifully decorated . we got a lovely warm welcome. Adrian and Dustin . Every detail has been thought through, there was nothing we needed . The breakfast was superb, cooked to perfection. Location is perfect, right in the centre of beautiful leyburn. We will definitely go back and highly recommend. Thank you

    Perfect Location in the Dales. Wonderful little cottage with all the home comforts you need. Even the WiFi is excellent. Surprise treats from Linda made us feel very welcome. Close to Leyburn and Bolton Castle, Aysgarth Falls, and if you want a little adventure, try The Forbidden Corner . This beautiful cottage is a little gem.

    In the perfect area for walking, very close to Leyburn town centre and perfect location for getting to the waterfalls, chocolate and cheese factory and so many more things. We took our dog and he settled right in. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything you needed in it and it was lovely, clean and warm.
