The restoration of the chapel has been done beautifully and the end result is enchanting. Secluded but close to main A road. Perfect for us visiting relatives but not too sure about access to attractions. Location exactly as pre-warned regarding narrow lanes in very bad condition - but not insurmountable.

Diane and Jonny were fantastic hosts and provided a very unique and enjoyable experience for our group. A welcome basket of crisps, biscuits, soft drinks, and even fresh milk was provided upon arrival, along with a hand-written card which was all a lovely touch and made for a great welcome. The flat is smack bang in the middle of the high street so a very convenient location but also very quiet so we weren't disturbed by any noise. The flat smelt lovely throughout, had all the amenities listed and was very clean and comfortable. The hot tub was also lovely and warm, and the house was very spacious but cosy. We only booked to stay for a couple of nights which was definitely not enough time as the flat had so much to offer, but we could easily see ourselves spending a whole week there in the summer!

Comfy cottage in a wonderful location. You can see the sea from the windows at the front of the house. Nice secure garden and paddock next to the house. The kitchen is lovely and well equipped. Comfy sofas and we enjoyed having a real fire. It's great that it's dog friendly (our dogs loved it!). The cottage was really clean and well maintained. Beaches within about a 10 minute drive. I've stayed in lots of cottages and this was one of my favorites. Nice powerful showers and bonus of two showers and a bath.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great food at reasonable prices. Spa was fantastic, I had 2 treatments which were very good, and the gym was modern with plenty of choice. The beds were very comfortable and the room clean.

We had a great 2 night stay here. Our room had a wonderful view out over the estuary, the bed was comfy and the room cosy. The food was excellent and the staff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back and explore more of the Wirral. Thoroughly recommended!

    It is sad how since Covid lots of things have changed in our life, in our communities and towns. Last Christmas we were in Prestatyn and the market was full of life and this time, there were a number of shops closed up. In Hollywell, it was even worse. Lots of shops were closed up, sad to say. I know we all do online shopping, but I still enjoy going to small shops and funcky staff they offer. It was sad. However, the beauty of Wales, the beaches and etc., are still there to enjoy, so please have fun and enjoy your trip.

    To be honest i did not stay in holywell for the sights, I was there as i was visiting family, we had a walk around the town, there was the old part and the new up and coming area, we visited a couple of puds and they were nice and friendly, alot has changed since i left the area and there has been plenty of changes, perhaps next time i will try to stay longer, we stayed in the victoria hotel it was lovely, plenty of room lovely and clean the owner was great.

    holywell is a small,town within the area of flintshire, there is the church that has the holywell, with the holy water plenty of walks and lovley countryside, and easy access to north wales via the a55, or the north wales coast road
