Very clean bedsheet, room and bathroom. Basin is with mixer tap👍 Very helpful and friendly staff members, all of them whom I came across served with smiles. Good range of tea selection in the room, including a few types of non-caffeinated tea. Breakfast was good, generous portion, well cooked, reasonable spread of fruit, bread and cold cuts. We had dinner in the Inn too. Food was delicious. On site free parking, easy to park.

The staff are all amazing, such a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout our stay. Food is also exceptional. Room was spotless and very comfortable, also very nicely decorated. We will definitely stay again, such a professional operating, outstanding.

It was quiet,  and place, just like your own home . my mother was 93 yr and myself. I’ve had a stroke and it was so easy to get around their garden and the house inside..

Excellent location, farmhouse in a peaceful hamlet surrounded by trees and bushes while close to major sights. Debbie was a wonderful host. Lavish breakfasts. Bathroom is a few meters away across the corridor, not en-suite, but you have basically the whole floor for yourselves and we felt perfect privacy all the time. It way like a stay in 2nd home to us. The room was immaculate. It is small so would be cosy for a couple but certainly perfect as a solo traveller. I couldn’t fault Jess and Steve who offered a really warm welcome and were happy to help with any queries throughout my stay. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is only a 5 minute walk away and a great place for drinks or food as you need.

I enjoy everything very much! An unforgettable experience in the truest sense of the word. The Fiennes Suite is a masterpiece if decor, taste and culture. But the real reason to go are the wonderful people (Tanya and her assistant Jenny) and the 2 house pets (Stan, the dog and Mao Mao, the cat). We love you all!!!

    A lovely old pub.

    A lovely old pub. Very comfortable accommodation perfect for a good night's sleep, and lovely think towels and good shower. Breakfast was fabulous with plenty of choices and lots of fresh fruit etc available. Evening meal good too. A delightful village and lots of nearby places to explore.

    Friendly landlord offered me coffee upon arrival after long solo drive. The room had fresh coffee and cafetière. Bath most welcome to unwind and soothe aches after 3 hour drive. The purpose of the visit was to attend a wedding in a nearby village.

    We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the...

    We didn't get to spend much time in Hindon but the neighborhood we were in was very lovely. We walked around a bit after we checked in, before we sat down for dinner. We didn't have a chance to go into any shops as it was late when we arrived but we very much enjoyed our stroll around the area.

    Appart from Bernice the other members of staff did their best to help us. Think they knew how bad the service we had encountered from the booking to the actual stay. Some guests were given free breakfast on the Sunday as a token of goodwill due to the many problems encountered. However not everyone knew about it! The groom was rushed into hospital the evening following the wedding with appendicitis. The cleaner was very helpful with the ambulance service. The hotel allowed the bride an extension on booking out of the room. Thankyou for that.

    Lovely appointed and clean hotel. The staff have thought of everything. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Lovely en-suite with high quality toiletries. The food, both dinner and breakfast, was excellent and very good value for money. Great place to stay in really nice area and close to some lovely attractions

    What a find!!!! Perfect location,the lamb is an old,historic pub full of charm and character,the food was excellent,the staff were fantastic,warm and thoughtful,the room was top notch,what a lovely village Hindon is,the only negative is tgat it's too far from us in tyneside,would stay there again in a heartbeat.
