    The hotel wasn’t really suited to me with my disabilities.

    The hotel wasn’t really suited to me with my disabilities. It would be better for younger and fitter people. It was a long walk to the accommodation section of the building having to walk past other amenities to get there. My request for a ground floor room wasn’t received by reception so I had problems walking to the room. Cleanliness was shoddy in places with stains on the carpet in the conservatory, and a cracked wash basin in the room. I’m sure younger fitter travellers would appreciate a stay here more than the older generation.

    Excellent staff on breakfast duty and fully staffed. Otherwise bar and grill is not a bar , it is a VERY NOISY sports bar totally unsuitable to my needs and anyone wishing to be able to talk to their dining partner or for family dining. Bar was short staffed and many used and dirty glasses on the bar. Will not be returning Question 4 below I would not recommend Garden City to any of my friends

    Staff were very amenable and it was an easy hotel to access.

    Staff were very amenable and it was an easy hotel to access. Current renovation work meant we swapped rooms as initially all we had was scaffolding at the window. Breakfast was just adequate but definitely not great value.

    Ask the reception for a quiet room, mine was overlooking the M56, luckily I had some earplugs with me so that filtered out the noise. Its ok but would rate the hotel as being on the same level as a Premier Inn, it used to be a more higher rating than a Premier Inn but standards are not what they used to be. Food was ok but don't expect 4* restaurant class food. I cannot comment on the other facilities as was only there for one night

    Lovely clean spacious rooms, amazing hotel great service from staff, no waiting about, rooms are decorated lovely bed was extremely comfortable as was pillows, sky TV, I would have stayed longer if i could, I would stay again and would definitely recommend

    Garden City is an awful place.

    Garden City is an awful place. Luckily, this hotel isn’t really in Garden City but conveniently placed just off the A55. The nearest village is Hawarden, which is lovely - pubs, farm shop, Gladstone Library. But really this hotel is a base to explore Chester (15 mins drive) or the North Wales coast.

    This hotel was chosen as the venue for wedding guests at a wedding we attended. It was close to the venue and in a handy location to access. There is an iron and ironing board provided in every room which was handy. The breakfast wasn't bad value at £10. There is a Starbucks inside, if you like that.

    The hotel was excellently located for a one night stay for a wedding we were attending nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast also was excellent with lots of choice.
