Good facilities for a longer stay as house had everything you would need - washing machine/ washing line provided. Charleton golf course well worth playing and good value. No Clubhouse yet as being constructed but looks good for future visit. Also some interesting looking chalets to rent. Elmwood golf course also worth a visit and good catering and good value for money. Very central location for travel to Crail, Elie, St Andrews etc. Village shop and BP garage and shop so everything available. No restaurant/coffee shop in village but alternatives close by. Colinsburgh is quite small with a local shop for any...
Colinsburgh is quite small with a local shop for any emergencies. It is very well situated for the beautiful villages along the Fife coast with Leven one way and the East Neuk the other only short drives away. St Andrew is only about 20/25 minutes as well. A perfect location for exploring this beautiful part of the Fife coastline. There is so much so explore - Elie and Earlsferry beach - where we saw cricket being played on the beach. We walked part of the Fife Coastal walk and visited the fisheries museum at Anstruther - well worth a couple of hours - it was fascinating. antruther is famous for great fish and chip shops - I would recommend The Wee Chippy - the best of the bunch.Guest review byFionaUnited Kingdom
