Chelmorton is a a very quiet, peaceful location in lovely countryside with walks almost from the door. But it is also close to the best of what Derbyshire has to offer. The spa town of Buxton is a great place to visit and reached easily by car as are Bakewell and Matlock. The higher peaks are prime walking country and again just a short car journey away. Close by is the amazing Chatsworth house and garden and there are lots of pretty villages with attractive pubs and loads of nice cafes everywhere you go. Good location in the village with a good pub with excellent food (best to book as can be busy). Peaceful and only a short drive to Bakewell, Chatsworth, Buxton and other Peak District places.
