Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives.
Carbis bay is lovely and less busy than St Ives. Plenty of restaurants with different choice of food. Tried several and found them great. La casita Spanish tapas -lovely. Gannet Inn the staff so friendly and Sunday lunch very nice. Firehouse St Ives, lovely staff and great food. The beach area in Carbis bay is really beautiful with choice of food available, a really nice bar with stunning views and a coffee shop. It’s very easy to get around if you have a car and there is parking available in several different locations around carbis bay. The local supermarket is very convenient on the main road. Another thing that 'really matters', when visiting this 'part of the World is 'Parking' ( Which can be a real nuisance in Winter ) and total 'hell' in summer...But The Badger Hotel is just a few minutes from the station ( with frequent trains to the centre of St Ives )...But as 'pointed out' by the Hotel, the bus stop is just 'over the road', so we went directly into the centre, in a 'matter of minutes'...( And believe me, it doesn't get better, than that...Guest review byAlanUnited Kingdom

The room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The WiFi worked really well, shower was good and the small kitchen was great for making a light breakfast. We found the accommodation quiet and in a good position situated about 15 minutes walk from the beach at Carbis Bay. There was good off road parking in an allocated bay close to the apartment.
