After breaking down (Tuesday), in the City, prior to arriving @ our Booking of Holiday Inn, we spent the entire day (Wednesday 17th) there, awaiting vehicle to be fixed (QUIKFIT)! Holiday Inn went out their way, to make us Welcome!

    Used to live in Burton on Trent over 30 years ago and still have close family there, we sometimes need a place to stay when we have travelled down from Yorkshire. There are some lovely places to visit from there like Calke Abbey, Lichfield. We have also visited The Three Horseshoes Tatenhill and Boars Head Sudbury for food.

    Burton on Trent looks to be a prosperous town with very good shopping opportunities at impressive shopping centers There are also excellent individual shops catering for a wide selection of shopping needs. The town is well served by excellent restaurants, may I particularly mention The Riverside Hotel in Branston for excellent food, drinks and ambience in a fantastic setting.

    Unfortuntely the room we thought we had booked was the bridal suite. Nothing like in the picture. We paid sixty pounds more for our room than anyone else in our party. The room was very small, small. Could not unplug the sink. The toilet seat was broken.

    Two Rooms I booked has access issues as the door cards did...

    Two Rooms I booked has access issues as the door cards did not work. With one room they could not get access at the end of the evening. A third room had shower issues and a guest fell in the shower as there was water in the shower tray. She fell and had to be taken to A&E as she had concussion. Two other guests had hair in their breakfast

    Best: the room in general The bathroom The pool Spa area Spaces The views . Bad: We were 2 people despite my son is a kid but still 10 years old and in the room ( no 2 bathrobes, no 2 dental kits ??? I had to asked for it ! The restaurant very bad waiting , lack of knowledge about menu info Not very good info about anything on the checked in very good place to relax and to go with kids ! I’m planing to go July with another 2 people. Kind regards. Fanny .

    Location is right in town centre and private car park next to the property (plenty restaurants around in walking distance) .Very clean... Everything there what would you need for staying over with family ...etc. ( all stuff for cooking or just watching Netflix there). We stayed overnight after Alton towers day out (in case you are far away from there and not fancy going back on the day)...

    Pleasant staff and welcoming. Clean hotel and all facilities available in room. Hell of a lot cleaner than travelodge or premier inn. And they don’t have as much facilities either. Travelodge I will never book with again Sausages were very tasty!

    Clean and tidy. Nicer than the initial appearance on Bridge Street makes it look. Staff polite. Good location close to bus stops and railway station. Also close to the town centre. Free Wifi worked well for video calls made for work.
