Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11.

Good location for Newmarket race course and the M11. the 24/7 bar and kitchen was a pleasant surprise as we didnt get in until 11.30pm from the concert. Breakfast was good but not as good as other IHG hotels I have stayed in. Less choice and the coffee machine that day was not working.

    As a Hotel Manager myself.

As a Hotel Manager myself. There should be no excuse for shortage of Stock. The Menu only had 5 Meals available as they did not have the items in From Ralking to the Morning Staff they were upset that the overnight staff did not do their job. This is all stuff Good management should be able to spot and resolve. The Staff looked Miserable and were not the best for politeness.

When we realised we might be a little late arriving we messaged Camilla and she was very helpful. As it happened we weren’t late but she had made provisions to let us access our rooms which was super. Our rooms were in converted stables, the beds were comfortable, showers hot and r the environment was nice and quiet. There were even horses in the stables that hadn’t been converted into bedrooms. Breakfast was exceptional and managed to satisfy two teenage boys.

Amazing Hotel, with a luxurious feel.

Amazing Hotel, with a luxurious feel. Everything there that you could wish for. Staff are lovely. Just needs slight adjustment to detail in respect of ensuring mattresses are fit for purpose and not worn out. Apart from that this Hotel was one of the best I've stayed in. We ate at Miller and Carter, food was delicious, book first as I did, It is easy to go to go to the NEC from this hotel. View of the river is amazing. Sky Bar well worth a visit. All in all I would definitely recommend this Hotel.

Five mins from the airport which was perfect.

Five mins from the airport which was perfect. The hotel lobby is very welcoming as are the staff. The communal areas are all bright and cheerful with lots of comfy seating . The actual swimming pool could do with a bit of an update but the sauna etc were all lovely as was the changing room. Our room was very quiet even with the proximity to the airport and with the window open all the time. There is building work going on but again we hardly heard any noise . Maybe a bit dated in place's and rubbish toilet paper……..

Nice bar Ate in the bar

Nice bar Ate in the bar We live fairly locally and know the area well, but due to getting early taxis we decided to stay at the hotel which is based at the end of a large car park. Don't expect to walk into Bickenhill as it is extremely difficult to reach, but there is nothing there except some very nice houses

Last time I travelled abroad from Birmingham I booked into Travelodge - a big mistake. The hotel was nowhere near the airport, the place was chaotic and badly staffed. 3rd rate restaurant. The staff at Novotel were helpful, friendly and appropriate. I had bought food from M&S at the airport as my experience at TL was so bad. Next time I will eat at this hotel and feel it is part of my holiday! As a traveller with sight loss I find getting to my destination quite scary. Will book into Novotel next time - thank you!

We ended up booking a stay at the The Arden Hotel following a very last minute change to our flights out of Manchester Airport to Birmingham. The hotel is very conveniently located approx. 5min walk from Resorts World and the NEC and a similar driving time to Birmingham Airport. Our room was a little dated but comfortable and very clean nonetheless.

It is the cheapest Hotel option to stay at Birmingham Airport, which makes it ideal as a stop over prior to an early morning flight. The place is clean and functional if showing some signs of being a little tired in places.

Always use Ibis hotel when we fly to or from Birmingham Airport as it is located in a ideal position and is usually value for money.
