Be aware the restaurants in Ballymena close by 9pm in the week, however they are open till 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday nights. Getting around is relatively easy with pubs, bars and restaurants concentrated close to the center of town. Ballymena - nice market town but Sunday its difficult to find anywhere open - especially before lunch o clock. Some nice wee bars and the food in the Grouse was quite nice. Staff also v friendly. Attended a wedding at the Galgorm Hotel, the host offered to drop me back at the hotel in the morning to collect car and suggested to ask the hotel reception for a lift to the property, therefore a taxi was not required.
