Ville di Paraso was a great pretty & non-touristy Balagne mountain village but only 15 minutes to the beach & 20 minutes to L'ile Rousse. It has a great little bar serving pizzas & a plat du jour, a small village shop & post office. It offers some great walks & everyone was super friendly.
