From the moment we arrived we felt very welcomed and looked after. The property is so beautiful and had everything we needed for our stay. The family room was set away from the main house with its own outdoor setting and felt very private. Yann and his wife were so lovely and generous with their time providing us with delicious breakfasts each day and lots of information on the local sites to visit.

Martin and Adda were very friendly and kind! We were welcomed with a rosé, homemade fig jam and lavender. Martin also took us on a 20-minute hike from the villa with a direct access to the river to an unpopular waterfall hidden from tourists and surrounded by nothing but just the water falling sounds. The villa has an amazing mountain view from the big swimming pool where we enjoyed the sunrise every morning and moon-gazing in the evening. Adda has her lavender garden that covers the villa with a pleasant smell. We came just after lavender’s season, but I can imagine the garden would look amazingly purple during its season. The studio is well equipped and prettily decorated with a terrace and a BBQ. Guests also have access to the covered terrace near the big pool where we had lots of good chats with Martin and Adda. From the villa, Sillans de la Cascade is just 30-minute walk away, but we only went once because we loved the little waterfall Martin so much. We ended up extending our stay also. We would definitely come back to relax and meet Martin and Adda again!

    Salernes is a wonderful old town that we have visited many...

    Salernes is a wonderful old town that we have visited many times before. The main square is surrounded by cafes, restaurants and shops and a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. The market on Sunday morning is a must do, with stalls selling a huge range of local produce and all those lovely Provencal things to take home as souvenirs - lavender, soaps, tea-towels table cloths etc. There is a wonderful natural bathing area at La Muie and we really enjoyed wandering around the old town with its old fountains dotted everywhere - very picturesque! There is a small but good supermarket in the main square and several other supermarkets on the way out of the town. Normally we visit in the summer. At May half-term, it was much quieter which was lovely in some respects but did mean that not all the restaurants were open. Cafe des Vignes was excellent with a varied menu and huge portions.

    Staying with Sergio and Elisa was a highlight of our trip to France as they were extremely friendly and welcoming. They invited us to their terrace for drinks and to get to know one other which we enjoyed very much. Our accommodation was clean and modern and we enjoyed staying. We were given ideas of places to visit in the area which we really appreciated. Our breakfast was delicious and included homemade treats. It really was a home away from home!

    Charming villa and location. Far from noise, relaxing, private, a real taste of the beatiful Provence. The hosts are very friendly and nice, made us feel like home while still on vacation. We totally want to go back there and we recommend it from heart.

    Very warm welcome. Nice pool. This is like a British B&B but in the Provence. Family atmosphere. We got a very authentic breakfast with lots of fine stuff that the landlady makes for her guests (brioche, juices, confiture).
