The St Girons Saturday market was the reason why we stayed overnight on our way from a holiday in Spain. The market has to be one of the best in Occitanie. We had a good meal at a Chinese/Vietnamese restaurant, La Pagode, which we can recommend and there are a number of interesting retail shops which have stayed open despite the problems of the last few years.Guest review byJohnNew Zealand - 8.0

We were in France for a wedding in St Lizier, very happy we chose to stay in St Giron as it had a selection of restaurants in walking distance and was a good base to exlore the region. I am glad we had a hire car as was able to drive up to villages in the mountains. Saturday market was excellent. Plus we were lucky enough to stay when they were taking the wild horses throught the town to the Mountains- spectacular!Guest review byLindaUnited Kingdom
