This has been the best hotel we have stayed in on this holiday. We were planning to go to the best Western in the middle of Reims *La Paix) but once parking had been added on, it was too expensive. The Golden Tulip is one year old so everything is exceptionally clean, fresh and unmarked. The room we got was a suite. It had a sub-divided section and access to an outside deck (so important for smokers). The parking was free. The breakfast excellent. The woman at the front desk very helpful (I was very low on fuel and I needed a close petrol station which in France, on a sunday, can be tricky to find. WE had had a bad night previously so this place was an enormous relief.

Great clean and comfortable accommodation in the suburb of the Reims city. Free parking, great personel in the reception. Some small meal and local drinks available for a good price in the lobby. Very close to the city center. Great bathroom with shower. We will come again.

The hotel is by the TGV station with great bus (and train) connections to Paris (or Disneyland), which is why we stayed here. You get downtown within 20 minutes by tram, the tram stop is directly in front of the hotel. Parking is available for free.

Great hotel with excellent value for money. This time we got an upgrade to a uniquely designed, artistic room with a very comfortable mattress. Everything was spotless, breakfast was good, the location perfect for exploring Champagne, and the staff extremely friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

    Very quiet and relaxing - lovely huge bedroom and bathroom. Downside is that there are not many places to eat unless you go into Reims. We did though find a lovely little friendly restaurant in Rilly-La-Montagne called Prise de Mousse - 23 Rue de Reims prisedemousse.com

    Ludes is an excellent base to use for exploring the region.

    Ludes is an excellent base to use for exploring the region. However, it is a village with few services. Visitors will not find restaurants, shops or other commercial services in Lude other than a large grocery which also houses the village post office. This means driving elsewhere to find restaurants when required.
