The hostess was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much bother. Breakfast was extensive with fresh local breads and produce, delicious! Property is wonderfully decorated and individually full of character. Perfectly located to explore Rennes - which we did. Surrounding countryside very beautiful. We left feeling like part of the family.

Breakfast was not offered as part of deal, but was provided in a basket to our room on request. The room had a table and chairs and thus this was very acceptable, nicely presented and just what we needed.

Les Escures was a peaceful haven in the middle of the countryside, but yet so close to Acigne and Rennes. From the welcome to the moment I departed, it went above my expectations. I was in the area for a stressful personal event but actually managed to feel rested and relaxed thanks to the amazing atmosphere and quality at Les Escures. I highly recommend it!

    Exceptional Chateaux in rural setting.

    Exceptional Chateaux in rural setting. Interior has been totally renovated and tastefully decorated with modern and period pieces. Beautiful environment with space to explore if you have time. Charming host who couldn't have done more for us, spoke English too which is very helpful. Breakfast in the largest room with huge exposed beams for the ceiling and glorious artifacts from French history. It was like being transported back in time. We are looking forward to our next visit.

    Nice location once the pathway is open as you can then waln...

    Nice location once the pathway is open as you can then waln into the village. A few nice shops .its not a tourist place ..its for people who like quiet. Lovely restaurant at the lake nearby. Friendly hoste. Good secure parking. Little terrace . Could do with a few more comforts esp in the kitchen. But overall a wonderful little place to stay ♡
