    Have visited before and we weren't disappointed the second...

    Have visited before and we weren't disappointed the second time. It was lovely walking along the canals and watching the ducks. There's a wonderful olive farm called Moulin du Calanquet 44 minutes drive and definitely worth a visit with a beautiful shop.

    L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a very beautiful and interesting town. Exceptional markets on Thursdays and Sundays. Many fabulous galleries and museums to visit, and plenty of choices for restaurants and bars. Easy to walk around and get to know. Lots of statues and sculptures and places to just sit and absorb the ambience.

    Excellent town to base yourself for 3-5 days.

    Excellent town to base yourself for 3-5 days. Wandering around town in cafes, shops and restaurants along the canals. Cycle hire recommended for a day trip out to the countryside. Within 1 hour you can explore Provence Lavender fields and Monastries, beautiful old historic French villages and lovely countryside.

    A Charming Town Full of Atmosphere L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue is a truly beautiful and picturesque town. A canal runs through the center, surrounded by lovely restaurants and cafés with outdoor seating.     Great little town with lots of antique and brica-brac stores to see. Lots of choices of restaurants to choose from. Parking is a bit of a nightmare if you're staying in walking distance of the village.

    A simple, traditional Provence breakfast served in a polite and friendly manner by a charming host in a lovely courtyard, protected by a large plain tree…a small swimming pool to the rear and surrounding plants. Essentially a 17th century building with modern facilities with Ethiopian artefacts in a small gallery and shop. A wonderful location close to the markets and the centre of town, but cool and peaceful. A bijou hotel with only five bedrooms.

    We really loved staying here at the end of our honeymoon. We had a fabulous room on the ground floor and felt wrapped up in nature, surrounded by trees and vegetation.The peaceful location of the hotel near the river was beautiful and we were able to fully relax in the quietness. Very helpful staff and messaging ahead of our stay always helpful.Loads to do in the vicinity and just down the road from the centre of town.

    The location was very convenient to be able to see most of the local sights by foot. There is a grocery store not more than 5 minutes away, and many restaurants to choose from. The Thursday market is very close by near the Cafe de France. It was nice having two bedrooms. The owner was easy to contact by Whatsapp.
