Expected Colombiers with two gourmet restaurants and a canal side location to be bursting with cute boutiques in ancient lanes. There is an old part which is mainly residential and right next door a very ugly, very modern part which seems to be mostly medical facilities. Was there on a grey day in October which didn't help, but I wouldn't call it a destination unless you're boating or going for the (excellent) restaurants.Guest review bydavidUnited Kingdom

Either to enjoy the excellent French cuisine on the beautiful outdoor terrace. The reception was friendly and helpful; we had the spacious attic room (only accessible by stairs) with welcoming air conditioning.
