Our host were very friendly. The beds very comfortable. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The host let our children feed the goats. Very helpful to have access to a kitchen and a fridge. Very quick Wifi. Bread and pastries for breakfast, with freshly squeezed orange juice. Would certainly stay again

So spacious and welcoming. Had indoor and outdoor seating in large secluded garden. Beautiful en suite bathroom, comfortable bed, cooling fan provided. Spotlessly clean and kettles provided with selection of tea and coffee. Hosts very welcoming and helpful. Would certainly return.

We arrived at Maria’s place after a long drive, and received a warm welcome and a delicious homecooked meal. Le Presbytère has it all, located in a wonderful rural part of France, we enjoyed tranquil and relaxing days and Maria made us feel at home right from the start. The house is beautiful, and our room was spacious and comfortable. Dear Maria, thank you for your kindness and your cheerful and warm-hearted reception. We will definitely come back. Lenni has poured passion ,talent, and effort into creating a relaxing ,comfortable home away from home for those passing through or indeed tempted to stay longer. The house is on 3 intriguing levels ,the rooms are characterful and spacious, retaining an authentic feel , with polished wood floors, fresh linens, generous towels; the luxurious bathrooms are a haven for pampering. .The garden room and lawned courtyard are perfect to enjoy summer morning breakfast or summer evening relaxation.The fully equipped kitchen and dining room is available for guests to use so you can make use of the vibrant ,twice- weekly market with every kind of fresh produce available and other nearby stores.There is a great choice of cafes ,bars and good restaurants ,patisseries, a swimming pool, within a short stroll away. too .I hope I have a chance to stay again before this exceptional B&B , located close to a picturesque bridge crossing the Charente, finds new owners to carry on the hospitable welcoming of its guests through its delightful solid oak doors!

A beautiful old property, full of character, currently being renovated to a high spec, by the owners Dawn and Chris. A real gem in the heart of rural France. Dawn and Chris were so welcoming and friendly & could not have been more helpful. We met ‘the boys’ on arrival too - the owner’s alpacas - which make this property unique. Our breakfast the following day - after a wonderful night’s sleep in a very comfortable bed - was amazing. It was delivered to the bedroom in a wicker picnic basket by Chris. We enjoyed real tea, orange juice, overnight oats, cereals, croissants, pain au chocolate and fresh fruit. A veritable feast. We would love to return in the future and can’t thank Dawn and Chris enough for their hospitality.
