    Great location for exploring the area and for walking (easy, relaxing or more strenuous). Plenty to do and see, including historical towns and villages, interesting walks, stunning scenery, nature reserves and sports. Plenty of nice cafes and restaurants in the area. The lake is very pretty and you can walk or cycle all the way around it.

    The staff were very warm and welcoming and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and offered enough choice. For dinner we took up the offer of the daily set menu which was home cooked, well presented and of high quality! Great value for the price. It was an added bonus that the staff could communicate in English for us.

    This is a superb hotel on a stunning site opposite lac Chambon. We have been visiting this hotel for nearly 20 years so that must say something about the welcome, comfort and the friendly hosts. The rooms are immaculate and the beds comfortable. Parking is free in a private space adjacent to the hotel. We’ll be back again.

    Lovely apartment within the resort that meant we had both the benefits of self-catering as well as the amenities of the resort including outside space for a drink/ breakfast etc. Very well located for hiking straight from the door of the hotel.
