This is a wonderful house situated in a village close to Monpazier. The couple who runs it are two wonderful people with a very generous and kind attitude. The room where I stayed was a lovely one with a very nice furniture and lovely garden. The breakfast and the meal that was additionally offered was delicious- great portion for a good price. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy peaceful atmosphere in a wonderful countryside.

    Nice little village on a hill around a big castle.

    Nice little village on a hill around a big castle. The village itself doesn't offer much except for a handfull very nice historic buildings, but it would be worth visiting the castle but we spent only a night in Biron. During Summer, there are concerts on the castle (classic). Biron has only one restaurant but there is a very nice town, Monpazier, about 7km away with several very nice restaurants (make sure that you reserve your table during high season). Biron would also be a good base for visiting neighbouring villages and towns of the Dordogne region, however, you need a car or motorcicle.
