The owner was very kind and we enjoyed some small conversations with her. It was beautiful quite in the forest. Very lovely house, comfortable beds and housing (only couch was upstairs and thus not so easy to reach). Very nice sauna. Kitchen had everything we needed. Very nice views into the forest from the windows. We were hoping for hiking trails but there weren´t any. Nevertheless, very nice walks on the main roads and beautiful access to the lake. Nice view on the lake. Funny and educative board game about the city of Nurmes. We recommend this accommodation!

The cottage was located on the sore of a small lake, totally isolated, which was very nice. We prepared our dinner on a grill outdoors, since it was a beautiful early autumn evening. The cottage had everything we needed, including a sauna. Some of us went for a refreshing swim in the morning and in the evening.

    The hotel is in a lovely location. We stayed in the houses away from the hotel. Dining options is pizza hell or a set menu of 4 courses, at a rather high price. The rooms in the huts contained not one spoon, knife or fork. Not a single glass even in the bathroom but four shabby paper plastic cups. The level of rooms were not acceptable considering the price and the facilities. I would not recommend this facility.

    Unfortunately, I booked a room inside the hotel itself. When I went, they gave me a wooden hut outside the hotel, which felt like a prison to me. It was not good at all. The TV could not connect to the internet or YouTube. I tried everything, but three days passed without internet or TV.

    The view to the lake was exceptional. The hotel was new and very clean. The food in Ohtu Restaurant was exceptionally tasty.
