    Young, buzzy city - feels like a real discovery.

    Young, buzzy city - feels like a real discovery. Alvar Aalto Museum is good if you are interested in design with lots of his buildings around too and the lake is a lovely walk/ run. Some nearby attractions too, so you need a car to make the most of this area. There’s some building work in the city centre as of autumn 2025 so it will probably be even better from summer 2026.

    Jyvastyla was a great surprise, we visited the Aalto museum, which was excellent. We walk to the University of Jyvaskyla, very impressive and beautiful. We could walk in to the lecture halls, libraries, class rooms. Many restaurants and cafes. I would go back once more to see the city center and galleries.

    The location of the hotel is right in the center of the city of Jyvaskyla. In just 5 minutes (max) you are everywhere. Besides is near the railway station and many buses stop just in front of the hotel. Breakfast is typical. Room is enough for one person. The bath is bit cosy but you can get used to it. All places in the hotel are clean. Finally, reception is 24/7 and all people are very polite and helpful.

    A large tent, lots more confortable than you can hope, really close to a beautiful lake, lost in a middle of a wood, on a gravel track: this is THE place to rent, if you are about to discover Jyvaskyla! Toilets, shower: there's all you can hope for on site to enjoy your journey. Furthermore, the owners are lovely, always ready to give you a good breakfast to start your trip!

    The location is perfect by the promenade of the city. The staff is always friendly, parking is affordable and accessible with a lift near the reception and they have really nice sauna facilities. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious.
