it was really fantastic. The first week with a new owner, she made it beautifull with nice furniture and super beds. Great view and great food! everything fresh and self made, delicious. We really enjoyed our stay, thanks for the hospitaly!

Well equipped and spacious kitchen and living space. Excellent outdoor/veranda facilities with barbecue area. The nearby stream and mountain views make up for the light industrial facilities in the vicinity of the the property. Some truly spectacular hikes and views all within less than a 30 minute drive from the property. The property grew on us the longer we stayed.

The house was great and had everything we needed. We travelled as a large family with our 3 dogs and they also had a wonderful time. The location is also great to explore and balance mountain, beach and city experiences. And the host was extremely attentive and available for anything we could need. Would certainly repeat in the future.

What a treat to stay at this amazing place in the quaint village of Garai, just above the larger town of Durango. Staff is incredible (thanks to Olatz for warm welcome and Irune for delicious breakfast and excellent tips on sites in the area!). Rooms are very cozy, we had amazing views of the mountains. The entire hotel is decorated so tastefully. We highly recommend the Herriko restaurant in town, a short stroll from hotel. Garai is an excellent base to explore the Basque region.

What a gem in a beautiful.little town with exceptional host and hostess.This is my second tome staying here and hope to be back again.It is only an hour for ferry in Bilbao.So very easy.It is located amongst beautiful buildings and a fabulous old church.The apartments are ultra modern and very clean and comfortable.Breakfast is also excellent.

    Location was great and the views were lovely. Our room was perfect for our one night stay. We also went out for the evening which meant that we got back to the hotel very late in the evening, The hotel were very accommodating with our request and ensured us that all would be OK.

    The staff were super helpful. The dinners were delicious - I ate there for both my nights but would gladly have gone back again. The hotel was in a beautiful and quiet spot with amazing views of the mountains and countryside.

    Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and despite that we didn't book spa the were still slots to book. We were first a bit scared when it said silent hotel at the entrance but this wasn't very true.
