    This hotel was what we expected, given the location, which was beautiful. We always hope for a cleaner room, the floors were not cleaned well in some time, but it was in the country mountains so I suppose that should be expected. The location was perfect for the hiking that we wanted to do and the owner and his son were quite helpful. It was fine for the few nights that we stayed there. Interestingly enough, we had one of the best showers during our trip at this hotel; the water pressure was great!

    Wonderful, comfortable, and clean rooms, and an amazing host. Natalia went out of her way to accommodate a very last minute booking and late arrival. Her breakfasts were delicious and generous, and you can eat at her restaurant ( a short walk up the road) as well. The hotel is in a beautiful place with lovely walks. Recommended.

    The hotel is in a breathtakingly beautiful location. The village is a paradise of peace and amazing wildlife. We saw a bear from the hotel reception within 10 minutes of arriving. The owner is a fount of local knowledge and gave us a great recommendation for a walk.

    Clean, cosy and authentic. The host Guillermina is fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. The location in Valle de Lago is spectacular, perfect for hiking.
