Very good place to leave to be close to the best beaches of the island and to main attractions (caves of Hams and Drach, dinosaurland). I really loved Porto Cristo.
I really loved Porto Cristo. The town is not too busy or not too quiet. There is a good balance between locals and tourists and you get aa great diversity of people set in a Spanish culture. It is an hour and a half's bus ride away from Palma de Majorca which is not bad. Really nice harbour town. Nice selection of bars / restaurants although sometimes difficult to get a seat at peak times - advise booking in the town centre. This is a very relaxed kind of place - great for chilling / beach days or pool days and a bit of sight seeing. However, it is quiet - there are no lively music bars or clubs.
