The Colourful Soul of the Costa del Sol
The birthplace of Picasso is as colourful as an artist’s palette, from the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea to the golden sun, which gives 300 days of sunshine per year. When the sun sets, the vibrant nightlife awakens and you’ll find your place amongst the youthful square of the old centre, the trendy bars of La Malagueta or on one of the terraces of Pedregalejo.

The old part of the town is awesome with the small streets, museums, cathedral and little churches. Lots of tasty menus too if you're the adventurous type & like to use your language skills. We didn’t like main beach.
We didn’t like main beach. However really enjoyed the city centre and the harbour area. Unfortunately train station was 50min walk from apartment, so getting out of Malaga wasn’t easy for us . Malaga is a great place to visit.
Malaga is a great place to visit. It is full of shops, bars and restaurants. There are some beautiful churches. There is a lovely tropical garden that has been really well thought out for the people of the city. You can visit the fortress and the castle on the hill. The new walkway, shops and restaurants near the sea are great to visit, along with the Sunday market. Most places are walkable apart from the botanical gardens which are about a 10 minute drive or bus ride from the centre but worth a visit. There is a bus stop just outside the gardens. There is also a long stretch of beach. It is also a good base for visiting other resorts. I would definitely go back again.Guest review byWendyUnited Kingdom
