Hotel Almendra was such a great first night of the Camino Ingles 6 years ago. We are walking this route again and I had no hesitation in wanting to return. The room and bathrooms seem upgraded. Good beds and bedding and everything we wished for. The owners have had this hotel for 38 years, so it is their pride and joy. Functional, clean and easy to reach from the train station

From the moment we walked in we couldn't have been happier with our choice to stay at Finca dos Mares. The restaurant has an exceptional view, and the food to match. The included breakfast was the best one I had during my 3 weeks in Spain. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. The only bad thing was that we only had 2 days left of our holiday and we couldn't stay longer! Loved it.

Isabel is very friendly and helped with everything, the dinner was very good and as I don’t eat meat the menu was adjusted for me. There is dry cleaner just crossed the road open 7-23 and it is a very quiet place and the view is amazing!

We were walking the camino de Santiago and this is a splurge. However, it was kind of off the route, but after a days walk, it is so worth it. The food in their restaurant was the best so far! Staff were all so friendly and helpful.

Emily at reception provides a lovely warm welcome and you have out of hours access to her incase you need assistance. Great first night stop for the camino de santiago.. Room temperature was perfect for February abundance of hot water, towels and shower gel provided.
