This is a delightful hotel in every way. The location is just perfect in the old town. The room was very clean and and the beds very comfortable. If you're lucky you can reserve a covered space directly beside the hotel. There is a beautiful courtyard next to the hotel where you can have breakfast or other meals.

The room was small however well equipped. The hotel is gorgeous with an excellent staff, the restaurant and personnel were excellent. Definitely a super stay for travelers. The hotel was booked for the following eve or we would have stayed over, a memorable destination.

    Our 3rd visit to Hondarribia. Wonderful historic centre. Great beach area. Unique in that there is a little boat that crosses to France in 7 mins. Many restaurants and bars. Can be very lively, particularly during festivals.

    The old town is really well worth visiting- beautiful cathedral & lots of places for delicious pintxos with the very friendly locals. There is a beautiful promenade for a leisurely stroll in the evening.

    Lovely area, especially the old town and Plaza de Guipuzcoa.

    Lovely area, especially the old town and Plaza de Guipuzcoa. Great vibe on the main streets Nice beach. Good hiking paths. Food is outstanding and prices are reasonable. Inexpensive water taxi across the river to France. The Parador (a 10th century fort/castle) is amazing inside. Worth a visit evenif you're not staying there

    Super holiday spot, recommended to us and we were delighted with the experience. Much smaller than San Sebastian, but full of interesting Bars and Restaurants, super walk along the sea front. A great base from which to explore the Basque area and culture.

    This is such a magical part of the world.

    This is such a magical part of the world. Bar Gran Sol for pinxtos is a must do experience, the other pinxtos restaurants are equally fab. For an outstanding gastronomic experience head for Gastroteka Danontzat in the medieval part of town, outstanding food, wine & the vibes are real. Do not miss this one.

    Hondarribia is more intimate than its larger cousin - San...

    Hondarribia is more intimate than its larger cousin - San Sebastian - just a short drive away. The old town as one can imagine is full of history and interesting buildings. The newer part of the town has the beach and plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes. There is enough to keep a couple entertained for several days. If you want a drive over the mountains there is a twisty road to San Sebastian well worth a try. Recommended for a couple to visit - probably not great for kids unless in the summer for the beach.

    In the very center of Hondarribia. Excellent location. The reception is very helpful and kind. New bathroom outfit, all works perfectly, nothing broken or out of order. Warm and cosy room. Restaurant below WORTH to have breakfast! Very tasty, variety of food, fresh juice and tasty coffee. You can park your car down the street for 4 euro (if you have luck to find the place). Loved the stay

    The location was perfect. It was great to stay in a typical building on the Main Street of Hondarribia. We really enjoyed the festive atmosphere. Hondarribia is one of the most beautiful towns in Spain and staying at Mariñelarena made our trip perfect. Very nice staff.
