There was so much to see and do.

There was so much to see and do. We walked a lot, did the hop on, hop off buses and took taxis-the taxis are well priced and available by raising your hand when you see a green light-the price you see as the journey progresses so there are no surprise costs. Plenty of eating places-from small bars serving tapas to full on restaurants -price ranging to suit. Recommended day trips to Monserrat and a train trip away to Sitges. The Merce festival held end of September is very colourful and great to watch and mostly free entertainment but can be crowded at the main areas. Loved Barcelona!

What a fabulous city! Stayed 5 days and that wasn't enough.

What a fabulous city! Stayed 5 days and that wasn't enough. Many attractions to visit and my favourite spots were La Sagrada, Park Guell, Sant Pau Recinte Modernista and Palau de la Musica Catalana, not in any order. Easy access to transport with a t-mobilitat ticket or just callejeo and getting lost. Too many choices for meals, but a staple for breakfast is at Forns-Pi bakery and La Fonda Restaurant proved to be great. Sitting at a terrace in a plaza watching the world go by while eating tapas and drinking tinto de verano!

    Barcelona is amazing!

Barcelona is amazing! I loved the vibe of the city, the monuments, the beach, the celebration of Mercé! The sightseeing options are exceptional, giving the visitor an enjoyable view of the city. So much to do there!! Please don't forget to visit Casa Battló, the Gaudi Museum, the Sagrada Familia Cathedral- one of the most beautiful places I've been to! Go to Barceloneta and spend at least a couple of hours in the warm waters! You won't regret it.

Barcelona is a very beautiful city with fantastic architecture. Antoni Gaudi the architect of the Grande Familia did beautiful work and his works on the other buildings and cathedrals in the area are all quite impressive. Restaurants in the area are fantastic, we went to different restaurants and all were great. To mention a few: Honest Greens, very nice, la peptic, very neat place great menu and hungry eyes an Indian cuisine restaurant which really turned me on to that cuisine, I was surprised at how good it tasted. All the restaurants great.

Barcelona is AMAZING, so much to do, loads of culture, places to go, fabulous food and drink , wonderful street entertainment, great beaches with warm sea. Easy transport links to other places such as Figueres and Montserrat. People are friendly and although (like most cities) there were warnings about pickpockets, we had no incidents, felt safe everywhere day or night (we were a small group of women). We were lucky to see the first day of a fiesta which was great fun.

Location of the hotel is rigt at the city center. You can walk or use the metro (across the street). The staff is very helpful, nice and professional. I was offered a bottle of champagne when the hotel knew it was my wedding anniversary (at the reservation). Buffer is 24/7. You can have a little snack at 21h00 after a flamenco show or you can drink a hot coffee or a nice and cold lemonade after a long walking day. What else can I write beside a BRAVO. A "must" when travelling to Barcelona.

Our best choice in Barcelona was this hotel. I’d like to highlight the location, the cleanliness and the staff. I’ve been to several hotels all around Europe but this kindness is not a standard even in a higher rated hotel. 5 stars for the staff from us.

In Barcelona when you decide to be in the city center, unfortunately you don't look for a high standard hotel so when you book this kind of hôtel you are just expecting the minimum... This is what it is !
