Basement in an old house in a picturesque market town. Freshly converted with a high standard of craftsmanship. Very comfortable. Powerful shower, AC and Wi-Fi. Good bars and good mountain walks on the doorstep. Great beaches and Valencia are in easy reach by car or slightly longer by bus. Tourists are rare in this part of Catalonia, and the local people are welcoming and friendly. After sunset, you share the quiet streets ad squares just with the cats.

Conveniently situated in a rural area just off the motorway, this scrupulously clean, warm and stylish accommodation on an orange farm was the perfect antidote to a long day’s driving with a warm welcome from Francisco and Nadja. Contrary to a previous review stating there was no heating, the reverse aircon unit kept our accommodation nice and warm. We enjoyed talking to our lovely hosts and hope to return one day. Thank you for the oranges!

The apartment decor is stunning. The old building is lovely with a dramatic entry. Niches in the stone walls filled with sculptures line the staircase. Inside the apartment, the walls are creatively painted all the way up to the very high ceiling—maybe 15 feet? Tiled floors were nice. Huge sofa was very comfortable. A small balcony with table and chairs has a view over the old square out front. The historical museum is just opposite. The king size bed was super comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the shower. With a fridge, microwave and kettle, the kitchen has all the basics. Not for cooking a whole meal but great for making breakfast. Perfect location to explore the historic area but also a very short walk to the "new" part of town, grocery stores, etc.

The apartment was spacious and had everything that we needed to make our stay comfortable. The kitchen had all of the necessary equipment and utensils that are required to prepare any meal. We had a problem with the heating but one call to the owner and they came over within minutes to fix it. The parking was easy and convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

The apartment is new, good furnished and well equipped, has all you may need. The owners did everything for our comfort staying, provided a map with the places to go, instructions, recommendations.     A scenic village with splendid signs of a long history.

    A scenic village with splendid signs of a long history. Surrounded by orange groves and vegetable fields, with an impressive mountain range in the background. Two bars in the village and many more in the neighbouring villages serve excellent food. A car is not absolute essential to explore the countryside and get to the mountains and the sea. But public transport is not too frequent if you are in a hurry. However, the bus to Valencia makes this outing much more relaxing.
