This is the best self-catering accommodation that we have stayed in anywhere in Spain. The hosts were charming, generous and helpful, providing a welcome present of bread, milk, water, coffee and even a delicious Cake!! The apartment is thoughtfully planned with the holiday visitor in mind, with hot water available 24/7, very comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and a cleverly curated outside space for al fresco dining. There is ample parking on the wide and quiet street out front and the location is perfect for access to the Monfrague National Park, which is a short 10 min drive down the motorway.

Overall a great, dog friendly guesthouse in a nice little town, close to motorway but far enough to relax from the entire day on the road. Very nice contact with the owner/manager. Lovely breakfast with great strong coffee, super tasty freshly squeezed orange juice, fruits and overall goood product quality (apart from bread but that's almost always the case in Spain unfortunately). Additionally access to a spotless clean, super well equipped kitchen for self use, which was important to me. Spacious, well equipped room with well working, silent and not smelly air con and ventilator on the ceiling. Nice little town, with very friendly locals, decent local restaurants, some small grocery stores and lovely park for walking your dogs - everything a stone throw away!

Set in Galisteo, 23 km from Plaza Mayor, La pension del Parador features views of the city.

During my trip through Spain, I slept here for one night….It was an extremely pleasant surprise: everything was extremely clean, the room was very quiet and the price-quality ratio was very good. I really appreciated the work done by the owner, a really nice friendly person, in transforming a restaurant into a guesthouse with a nice and useful design. I recommend this place to everyone who passes through the beautiful town of Galisteo.

Superb house in a little village very quiet and peaceful. The house has everything you would need for a few nights rest. Park outside the front door no problem. The village shop is pretty basic so don't arrive expecting to do a grocery shop. Bakery is excellent but closes every day at 1pm.

the people were amazing and the flat the most beautiful one of all my journey from Germany to Spain. well decorated and equiped, everything you need is there and a beautiful clam place at the pool!

Located 5 minutes' drive from Plasencia centre and with easy access to all major roads, this hotel is just a 20 minute drive from the beautiful Monfragüe Park.
