    There were a number of good restaurants.

    There were a number of good restaurants. As we were there for only 24 hours we only had supper and lunch, both good. Whale watching was the reason for our visit , which we thoroughly enjoyed. Again Ana our host suggested the company which had a marine Biologist Kim who was extremely knowledgeable and experienced.

    Strange vibes in this town, we were constantly harassed by people selling things, it was really uncomfortable. The whole three days we were there we only saw maybe 3 or 4 other white people, we felt we stuck out in a really bad way and felt very unsafe at night.

    Las Galeras was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful beaches.

    Las Galeras was a perfect place to stay. Beautiful beaches. If you like snorkeling and diving this is the place to visit. Samana is good for fishing whale watching. There are some beautiful hotels in Samana. A lot of Bed And Breakfast if you prefer to stay there. Beaches must go to Las Galera. Samana you can take the Gua Gua (bus) from Puerto Plata DR, to Samana for 400 paiso . The ride is safe and they make a 2 hr stop for food and bathroom. The total travel time is 4 hours to Samana and then if you want to go to LaGaleras it's 1 hr more and costs 120 paiso.

    For me Samana have one of the most beaches in DR.

    For me Samana have one of the most beaches in DR. They’re no too far from the town. It’s easy to book trips to: salto limón, playa Rincón, cayó levantado. Only one concern for me, most of attractions doesn’t accept credit cards, yes you always can use cash, but currently, every business have a device to collect the payment through CC.

    Samana is an unbelievably beautiful and picturesque city...

    Samana is an unbelievably beautiful and picturesque city filled with historic places and amazing architecture. The people and super friendly and kind and treat you like family. We were so impressed with the area, that we have decided to return for Christmas and look for a piece of land where to build a property. Just gorgeous!

    The hotel and the location are exquisite. The food can vary from excellent to ok from dish to dish but all that is minor in comparison to the quality of service. This is probably one of the best trained teams I have ever encountered. They have purpose and do everything with pleasure and a smile. It makes for a total luxury experience. The material part which is impecable is nothing in comparison with the experience of being made to feel very special by every member of the team. Congratulations that is luxury hospitality. 👏👏

    The breakfast was nice and freshly made. Great staff, very helpful and service minded. The rooms was neat and clean. It has a nice view and its quiet and nicely renovated or well kept. All in all we had a great time once we knew how to get around by taxi. The hotel is great and I think maybe it was recently renovated which contributes to the fact that there was some room for improvement. But it has great potential!

    Ease access location, parking space is free and safe, the staff is very helpful and friendly. Since I was traveling for work, I was not able to get to see all the installations, but it was so secure that I decided to repeat the hotel for the last night at samaná for work.

    The hotel is new and it is very comfortable, the owner Jose is always around and he looks after the clients really well. Breakfast is good. The stuff is always kind and helpful. Totally recommend to book the hotel.
