The city is historic with lots of history and you can take tours around the city with a guide, also a lot of hiking can be done in oybin with a mountain train to take you, but not in winter. There is a museum, five churches, local bakeries, shops and restaurants. Train station is ten minutes walk to the centre. Even though it’s a 15-20min walk from the train station. Or you can take the bus. The staff are always polite, helpful and are patient when I am speaking in German.
