    A very charming town with beautiful markplatz and great church. Medieval half-timbered houses and Baroque town houses lined the market square in the old town of Schwäbisch Gmünd. One of the most impressive buildings in Schwäbisch Gmünd is the "Forum Gold und Silber", a beautiful structure and a must-see if visit 'the Jewel of Southern Germany'. Schwäbisch Gmünd is one of the most exciting destinations for city tourists, whether for a varied day trip or for a longer stay.

    There are probably a couple of dozen significant old town...

    There are probably a couple of dozen significant old town centres in Germany. Some, like Bamberg, are absolute gems; Schwabish Gmund isn't, with only a handful of interesting churches and other buildings. There is too much traffic in the pedestrianised areas and very little choice for evening dining.

    The hotel was a great experience.

    The hotel was a great experience. We went there to visit the US Army Garrison Hart and Bismarck concerns. The hotel is where my father stayed during his transition there, it is exactly the same as he described it. A small but friendly place with plenty of memories the hotel is the best in the area

    This was our second stay in this hotel. You cannot beat the location. You are in the middle of the city. Despite that parking is available! We arrived early after my friends flew in from America. They were extremely tired and we were kindly met before check-in time and shown to our rooms. Much appreciated. The rooms were comfortable and unique. Breakfast is lovely and the person serving breakfast even more so. Very nice! Will definately book again!

    the hotel was so expensive for the price and the hotel is too old for the price the are putting it the breakfast was too expensive for the price they are using the big hotel at the front of it to market their own property there was no picture of the property on the page if not I will never pay only 80 for a night there I feel the hotel price is too much I was not happy I stay there for that price
