We stayed as an alternative to Heidelberg.
We stayed as an alternative to Heidelberg. We brought bikes with us and cycled to Heidelberg instead. There's a lovely cycle route via Dossenheim through the vineyards which is really pretty and traffic free. Although the hotel is at the very edge of the village and uphill it's not very steep and was easily manageable on the bikes.Guest review byGillianUnited Kingdom

Two toilets and two bathrooms were appreciated for five adults! Staff was helpful. The streets are narrow and do not allow parking, but there is a free car park nearby for any length of stay. Heidelberg is very close (12km) but Schriesheim is worth exploring - we didn't manage to get to the castle that we could see from the windows!Guest review byShaunHUnited Kingdom

They gave us a wonderful room with a nice and green view. The room is new and well ventilated. The people who prepare the breakfast are really nice and friendly.
