Very nice hotel in the Bayern country side. Stunning view from the porch outside the dining area. Comfortable room. Great breakfast with a lot of options available, cold and warm, they prepare eggs on request. We also had a fine dinner in the local restaurant.

We stayed for our first wedding anniversary and it was amazing! The hotel is beautiful, the staff is great, the food is excellent and the rooms are amazing! We even got a free upgrade for our celebration! We were super welcome and felt like "home away from home" there! Besides, we traveled with our dog and it was super special, they prepared a bed for him, they added bowls for food and water in the room and he got lots of treats and petting from the staff! We would come back and recommend it to anyone!

Nice and very comfortable accommodation in a quiet part of the beautiful town. Everything was clean and fully equipped. A great choice for staying, with an amazing view through the window of the hills on the horizon.

    If you want to feel real Bavarian spirit you will book this hotel. The location is at the county side and it is so so easy to find. The owners are so welcoming, as well as the staff at the hotel. It is quite area. In 40min drive is Garmish. We were with kids and tried to go for Zugspitze but the weather was not nice and did not make it (there is a panorama web cam so you can check it via website). Alternatively, you can go for the cable car near ski jump platform. We all loved the place.

    great restaurant. great staff great breakfast I like the location for Roche, but you need a car. however if you’ve made it to Penzberg on a holiday you are probably visiting bad Tölz, starnbergesee anyway.
