    Meersburg is one of our favorite towns. It has everything: Medival castle, a fantastic boardwalk on the lake, apple orchards, winyards with a winery, excellent restaurants & bars, boating marina, ferry to other parts of the lake, the list goes on. A very charming and picturesque town.

    Meersburg offers history, great restaurants, great location on Lake Constance and between the different cities and towns around the lake. The town is easy to get around and offers activities for all ages.

    Quaint small town with waterfront area and then upper area where there is a castle. Good base for hikes or biking - wonderful vineyards and orchards. Ferry leaves from here to almost everywhere so easy.

    Amazing 4 days using Meersburg as a base to explore the beautiful villages around lake Konstanz. Meersburg is an incredible medieval town with the oldest inhabited castle in Germany with an intact dungeon. The entire region is surrounded by the lake and vineyards. Lots of lovely swimming spots, plus great cycling and hiking paths. We enjoyed some fabulous meals in Meersburg and tasted some lovely white wines. This area is a hidden gem, lots to see and do. We will be back!

    The old castle is for sure worth a visit.

    The old castle is for sure worth a visit. The oldest museum in Germany. Really great to learn and you get a feeling how life was if you listen to the audio tour. Make sure your cell phone is charged before you start the tour.

    This hotel has a fabulous location up the hill overlooking Meersburg and the lake. Its grounds are really lovely with plenty of comfortable seating and lounging areas. We enjoyed chilling in the garden after a day out with a glass of something from the honesty bar before dinner. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed. We were lucky to have a little balcony with views over the town and lake.

    Very kind and helpfull staff/owner. A small hotel, where you feel "at home" right from arrival. Also a beautifull terrace with lots of flowers, where you can enjoy your breakfast etc. Free parking in front of the hotel and a position right next to the old gate to medieaval Meersburg ",alte stadt". Highly recommendable.

    Fantastic breakfast, very helpful staff and willing to assist with any issues, even before my arrival. The hotel is situated in the city center so everything is within walking distance. We would go and stay there again, maybe in not such a warm weather.

    Location fantastic. Lovely room. Breakfast buffet was not topped up so there were shortages of most things at 9.00 am. Two out of three coffee machines not working. No white rolls. No bacon. Fried eggs cold. Sorry this let the hotel down.
