Self check in was easy. There were quite a few steps down to the breakfast room and up to our room from the front door. Breakfast was enjoyable. The lady in charge spoke enough English to be able to cope with our lack of German. There is a supermarket close by that you can walk to and buy an evening meal. A pleasant surprise was a microwave on the landing near our room.

We spent two nights, in town for a friend’s anniversary celebration in nearby Bann. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is beautiful inside and out. Nice view from the room. Breakfast was a spread of cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, fruit, and cooked to order eggs, etc. All delicious. Wished we had time to have dinner there - it smelled wonderful. They were having a group of forty people for a dinner and it looked beautiful. Had a great walk around the town. Parked on site. Highly recommend!

    Not much to see or do in Kusel.

    Not much to see or do in Kusel. I was there for a concert on the outskirts of the town which was in walking distance from the hotel. Kusel is really just a stopover location. A victim of COVID closure, which is a shame.
