I was traveling alone from Belgium to Denmark and back, so I needed a place about half way to stay for a single night. This place has a lot of charm, with it's old and traditional architecture, it was a really warm and cozy place to stay in. Unfortunately I don't speak german, but the personnel was warm and welcoming, and spoke perfect english. The room was quiet and comfortable. I had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant part, which was excellent too. The breakfast was perfect but very copious, I'm really sorry I couldn't finish everything but, as good as it was, it was too much for me alone. The town of Mehle and it's surroundings are also very quiet and pretty, and not far from the Schloss Marienburg, around where I was able to take a stroll before going back to Belgium. Highly recommended if you like warm, cozy and quiet places with traditional charm

Excellent service, terrific diner, good beds and a very proper place. The owner-couple was very friendly and they made our short stay during the Hannover Messe a very nice event. Food is all fresh and home-made, the village is very authentic and it is only a 20 minute drive to the Messe-gelande. Breakfast must be reserved on beforehand. We weren't aware of this, so we had a coffee in the morning in the hotel and then the owner advised us an excellent cafetaria where we got fresh and very tasty rolls. So even this was a very nice experience :) We would very much advice this nice hotel-restaurant to everyone!

Location is aside from the center, but it was no problem for me (I travel by a car). Room located in separated part of the house upstairs together with bathroom, kitchen and living room. The equipment is simple, but almost everything is new and it's clean everywhere. Considering price point I would say that conditions are excellent. The host is very nice, and speaks English very well (it was important for me because I don't speak German). If I will stay in this area overnight, I will definitely choose this place again..

It was an amazing experience staying in such a historic building. Sabine was a great host, meeting us at the property and showing us around. The apartment had Everything you could possibly need and a very well equipped kitchen. The supermarket was close by but be careful it wasn’t opened on a Sunday.

    I liked that the room is exactly as shown in the photo. many times I go to hotels and B&B's and realize the advertising photos were not realistic. The bed was also super super comfortable and everything was spotless.
