Great place - friendly and helpful staff, sizeable room (especially with Murphy bed stowed during the day), mini kitchen, comfortable beds, nice to have little library of stuff you can borrow in the lobby (e.g., toys, board games, bike helmets, etc). It's near the trams, and walkable to many restaurants and grocery stores. Highly recommended!

Really nice cosy bigger than average room, nice beds, lovely balcony with a view of the vineyards and very clean. Lovely restaurant, it is part of the place, we loved the whole experience! The place has a lot of character!

Fantastic location as it was close to the office and the centre, so getting around just by short walks was very enjoyable. The hotel itself is a very high standard and decorated very well, as the name suggests. The staff were incredible, extremely patient, courteous and helpful, and they could not have made our stay more pleasant. The rooms were clean, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom and shower was perfect. Note that wifi was also good and included in the room rate... 😊 I am looking forward to many more stays here in the future, when visiting our office in Emmendingen. Normally I would stay in Freiburg but this hotel is a real game changer.
