    Be selective where you are staying!

    Be selective where you are staying! Certain hotels are not very compassionate of your needs. If I had to do it again, I would definitely not stay at this hotel. Anyway, it is a done deal that will not be duplicated again! Thank God!

    Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums...

    Amazing architecture, well described and educational museums, very nice polite people, pretty decent food and drink. You need about 4 days overall, to get to know the city, and possibly go back to the places you liked best (if that's your thing when you travel - it is for me). However, the religious thing does get a bit tiring, as does the noise level. Best part of town by a long stretch was Santo Antonio depois do Carmo, which is beyond the Pelourinho. The Casa das histórias de Salvador was very good, albeit a bit short on live story telling.

    Salvador is full of culture and history but it doesnt feel safe and a lot of people were very unpleasant to my family and me when working (at restaurants for example). Saw one of the most beautiful sunsets at the lighthouse at barra.

    great city with a long coastline, beautiful beaches, nice restaurants, lot of music, many museums, many churches. landscape and cultural life are very diverse and fantastic. it is easy to move around with uber and safe.

    A 'must see' city chock full of history reflected in the...

    A 'must see' city chock full of history reflected in the architecture and the well-preserved churches. The tourism infrastructure is well developed. Be sure to check out the San Antonio de Carmo neighborhood- it is a hidden gem near Pelourinho with lovely Pousadas, restaurants, bars, coffee shops and art spaces in restored historic buildings.

    The location of the Fusion Guesthouse is excellent for those who want to immerse themselves in the real Salvador. I breathed and felt the Brazilian atmosphere like never before in other locations. In the structure I had the opportunity to meet other tourists and locals which enriched my travel experience.     Claudio, working in reception is an inexhaustible source of information, :). At arrival he gave me so many information, I could easily stay in Salvador at least 10 days. Thank you, Claudio. Rooms are normal rooms in 3 star hotels, quite small I can say (though enough for 1 person), but the view of the old town Pelourinho through my little balcony was inspiring, :). Also nice view from pool, on the same old part of old town.

    Very comfortable room. There is a large balcony in the room, and there is excellent options to have dinner in restaurants the front of the hotel. The beach is wonderfull, but not so easy to access by walking. The pool and area for leisure is very good as well. I recommend this hotel for those who need to stay in Salvador close to the airport and close to a big mall known as Shopping Center Norte Salvador.

    A lovely house, it gave me a sense of living in Salvador 100 years ago. Light and airy and tastefully decorated. The suite was cute. The breakfast is the best I have had in many years of staying at hotels in Bahia. The staff and owner are charming and kind. A gem of a place. I will return. The location is excellent.

    Incredible boutique hotel with lovely rooms and a perfect plunge pool in the back for hot Salvador days. Lovely staff, amazing breakfast and could have stayed a week as opposed to just one night. Perfect location to explore the centre and most interesting historical parts of the city by foot.
