We needed a place for the night which was clean and comfortable and the Blue Pelican suited all our requirements as we were not on holiday, just passing through on a long journey. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms was clean and neat. The Club across the road was just right. It's like a country town, everyone is happy, streets are clean shops are all lovely. lovely food places to eat or just sit and have coffee. We were able to walk everywhere as it's all so close. If you have never been to Tweed Heads before, you will enjoy the nearby beaches, variety of cafes & restaurants. Our favourite is the Orient Restaurant located in the Twin Towns club. I have stayed at Twin Towns many times over the years. Great location, Easy access to beach and shops. All under cover so weather is not a problem especially if you are using Twin Towns Club facilities. Twin Towns club is an upmarket club with great food and variety.Guest review byHelen - 8.0

Tweed heads is a great place to stay if you like swimming and have a watercraft to use on the river. Fishing and jetskiing seems to be the favourite activity on the water. Most restaurants and clubs are closer to Coolangatta. The beaches are in Coolangatta or Kira.Guest review bysandraAustralia
