What pleasure to sit/walk and observe the Hunter River from the Newcastle foreshore. Delightful beaches are in easy access. So too Newcastle inner-city area. Stockton (on the northside of the river is worth an excursion and reminder to "old" Newcastle. Excellent train service to Maitland and bus services to other near locations.

The redeveloped port area and clever use of the railway facilities make this a delightful area to stay, and there are extensive attractions in the region. We ate at restaurants along the waterfront and shopped in the local area. All good.

Lovely beaches, amazing pubs all in short walking distance from Arvia accommodation. Parking was very secure at location and walking distance to many shops, cafes, pubs etc. Love visiting Newcastle for the op shops, so many to choose from in each suburb. The Escape room is also a highly recommended activity for families

Newcastle city is very run down and neglected.

Newcastle city is very run down and neglected. There is a lot of graffiti on the derelict buildings along the wharf. I would not consider it a holiday destination. If you are going for a specific reason then stay on the beach front as it is very nice. Nelson Bay is a better holiday destination.

The people in Newcastle are incredibly friendly and eager to help. As a driver navigating the city, I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness and courtesy of the local motorists. The beaches were a breathtaking sight, pristine and well-maintained. Access to the children's playgrounds was effortless, and there were ample toilet facilities conveniently located nearby. Additionally, parking was plentiful at popular tourist sites, making it easy to explore all that this charming city has to offer.

Best value for money in Newcastle. Exceptionally clean and comfortable with everything you need. Have stayed here at least four times in the last 6 months while visiting children at Uni and always feel safe and secure. The staff are super helpful and accommodating, needed to stay an extra night due to an emergency and the lovely staff moved things around so we could keep our room and not have to check out and back in, which was so appreciated during a stressful time.

The location is quite convenient... it is central to main Newcastle CBD area therefore easily accessible to University of Newcastle and other business commitments surrounding (City Hall, etc). Easy walk to Wharf Rd, Civic Theatre and plenty of eatery around in the area. Bedroom and bathroom were clear and comfortable bed.

Everything! Being someone who has enjoyed many stays at The Little National Sydney, I was excited to experience the one in Newcastle. It's amazing how each hotel has that high quality TLN touch but unique in their own way. I would highly recommend to everyone to stay at any TLN as they are consistently great.

Location was the key to selecting this unit for our stay as it was within walking distance to our reason for being in Lambton. However, next time I will read the reviews.
