Margaret River is a beautiful town. So quaint and welcoming. The forests are amazing and there's such a sense of calm there. Staying in a good location meant that everything was within walking distance. The bakery is definitely worth a visit. There are queues but I could see why. We visited the Tapas restaurant MORRIES which was great. Food and service was outstanding.Guest review byRechtAustralia - 8.0
The town is easy accessible.
The town is easy accessible. You can walk up one side then down the other deciding where you want to eat. Just enough shops to look in and supermarkets if you are cooking for yourself. Pleasant modern town,busy with enough restaurants or enough takeaway shops if that is what you are after. Ten minute drive to the ocean. Plenty of street parking. Lying in bed at night you could hear the rain on the roof and wind in trees. So peaceful. The chalet was meticulously clean and wonderfully comfortable and had everything required to cook a meal. You are within walking distance to Margaret River town and a short driving distance to innumerable wineries, galleries, walking trails and beaches. It has a perfect location, betweeen town and the beach. We loved the sparkling clean home, generous ensuite bathrooms and well appointed kitchen. The large back deck was perfect for relaxing and watching the ducks, rabbits, kangaroos and abundant birdlife.
